The extensive methodology used by U.S. News and Best Lawyers® to rank nearly 9,000 law firms in 39 practice areas worldwide included survey results from clients, lawyers, law firm professionals and established research conducted by Best Lawyers® that evaluated multiple categories including expertise, responsiveness, integrity, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, civility, and whether the respondent would refer another client to a firm. Bacon Wilson earned the distinction of Springfield-MA Tier 1 law firm in the areas of Bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights / insolvency and reorganization law, family, and real estate practice.
Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a rigorous, multiphase rating process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third party research.
