Begley, recently contributed her expertise to an article about employee handbooks, featured in the July 2004 issue of Contracting Profits. In it, she cautions against including information that may lead employees to conclude that a handbook is a contract, and she outlines proper means to handle changes to the document. Attorney Begley earned her B.B.A, cum laude from the University of Minnesota and her J.D., cum laude from Hamline University School of Law. Her areas of expertise include employment law, domestic relations, family law and personal injury, with additional specialties in the areas of civil litigation and employee/employer Issues. She is an active member of the Women’s Partnership and also Second Vice Chair of the Pioneer Valley American Red Cross. Begley lives in West Springfield with her husband and 3 children.
