SPRINGFIELD, MA – The law firm of Bacon & Wilson, P.C. in Springfield, is pleased to announce that seven of their partners have been distinguished as “SuperLawyers” in the November issue of Boston Magazine. Determined by the results of 37,000 ballots distributed to Massachusetts lawyers, the following attorneys were named:
Attorney Ratner is the chairman of the firm’s Real Estate Department, and his practice is concentrated in the areas of both residential and commercial real estate as well as financing. He also represents numerous developers in regard to all aspects of land use planning and development. His additional specialties include banking, estate planning and municipal law. Ratner is a current board member and past president of the National Conference for Community and Justice and a former president of the Hampden County Bar Association. He lives in Suffield, CT.
Attorney Salvage is the co-chairman of the firm’s Insolvency Department. His practice deals with sophisticated workout and bankruptcy matters, representing both creditors and individuals or companies facing financial difficulties. His additional specialties include creditor’s rights, business/corporate and real estate. Salvage is a member of the executive committee and former chairman of the board of Jewish Geriatric Services, Inc. He lives in Longmeadow.
Attorney Fialky is chairman of the firm’s Corporate Department. His practice is concentrated in business and banking law, with an emphasis on business formations, mergers and acquisitions. Additional specialties include health care, trusts and estates and real estate. Fialky is a past president and current member of the board of directors of the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, and he currently serves on the board of trustees of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He lives in Springfield.
Attorney Katz is Co-Chairman of the firm’s Bankruptcy Department. His practice is concentrated in business and insolvency law, and he has played a significant role in numerous successful reorganization cases. He also handles sophisticated healthcare law matters, and is General Counsel to many businesses including medical practices and individual physicians. His additional specialties include creditor’s rights, commercial and corporate law. Katz is a past president and current member of the board of directors of the Jimmy Fund Council of Western Massachusetts. He lives in Longmeadow.
Attorney Rothschild is Chairman of the firm’s Litigation Department. His practice is concentrated in general litigation, as well as personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, and employer/employee disputes. He also represents a number of employers in general business and higher education, providing advice on issues relating to termination, discrimination, and avoidance of disputes. His additional specialties include personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice and employment law. Rothschild is a past president of the Springfield Jewish Community Center and is currently a member of the board of directors of the Hampden County Bar Association. He lives in Longmeadow.
Attorney Krevalin is presently serving as the firm’s Managing Partner. His areas of expertise include general business matters, real estate, domestic relations, and he has extensive experience in the area of shopping center/mall representation. Krevalin is a past chairman of the board of Jewish Geriatric Services. He lives in Longmeadow.
Attorney Mirkin’s areas of practice include commercial and residential real estate, as well as consistent involvement in commercial loan documentation, representing numerous area financial lending institutions and business borrowers. In addition, he handles zoning and subdivision issues. as well as commercial and banking law. Mirkin is a former president of the board of directors of the Western MA Division, American Heart Association and a current co-chair of the Baystate Children’s Hospital Golf Tournament. He lives in Longmeadow.
