SuperLawyers Rising Stars Among Local Law Firm

Springfield, MA – The Springfield based law firm of Bacon & Wilson, P.C. is pleased to announce that two associates have been honored with the distinction of Massachusetts SuperLawyer Rising Stars, for 2005. The awards were published in the May 2005 issue of Boston Magazine and in a separate magazine, Massachusetts SuperLawyers 2005 – Rising Stars Edition. The Rising Stars were selected based upon ballots sent to 1,727 attorneys across Massachusetts, who were designated as SuperLawyers in 2004 by Law & Politics. The Rising Stars are under 40 years old, or have been practicing law for less than ten years. Only 2.5 percent of Massachusetts lawyers were named 2005 Massachusetts Rising Stars.

Michelle M. Begley earned her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law, cum laude, and her B.B.A. from The University of Minnesota. She lives in West Springfield with her husband and three children.

Julie A. Dialessi-Lafley is a general practitioner who earned her J.D. from Western New England College, and her B.S.B.A. from Bryant College. She has written many articles, and she lives in Wilbraham with her husband.

Bacon & Wilson, P.C. has a total of 28 lawyers plus 65 paralegals, secretaries and other support staff. The firm’s main office is located in Springfield, with additional offices in Westfield and Northampton. The firm was founded in 1895, and Bacon & Wilson provides legal services in almost every area of the law to clients throughout Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut.
