When Life Gets Legal SM
Gerrit (Gary) D. DeYoung
- Associate
“When clients come to us with a dispute they haven’t been able to resolve, I know that it’s been a long stressful road for them. My goal is to work to reach a resolution that achieves their goals as efficiently and with as little stress as possible, so they can refocus on what matters to them most. Life improves when we can achieve a fair and quick solution to our most difficult problems, and that is what I work toward each day.”
Prior to joining the firm, Gary gained valuable experience working for the Massachusetts Land Court in Boston, Massachusetts as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Sarah Turano-Flores. In this role, Gary conducted legal research, prepared memoranda, and advised the Court on a variety of legal issues. While in law school, he interned with the Honorable Katherine A. Robertson at the U.S. District Court in Springfield and with the Honorable Diane Rubin at the Land Court and served as Executive Editor of the Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy.
